About me

 Hi, my name is Francesca Vano. I am the oldest of three siblings and am a current sophomore in high school. I have lived in California my whole life, but my dad is originally from Spain and grew up in Guatemala. I have many family members in Valencia, Spain. My family owns a charming hotel there, and always reassures me that Valencia is my home away from home. Growing up, my dad made it a priority to go visit my family and to take advantage of being bicultural. In freshman year, I came up with an idea, which was to create a blog to explore Spanish literature (from any Spanish-speaking country) and to research famous and talented Latinx and hispanic authors and writers. My interest in Spanish literature originates from my personal background fusing together with my academic passions.
